Supervisee in Clinical Social Work
Eliza Bonilla is a Supervisee of Social Work and graduated with a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2024. She received a Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University in 2022.
Eliza believes in a holistic approach to mental health and the power of creative self-expression through art, music, play, and movement. She is passionate about child development and welfare and is particularly interested in addressing childhood trauma and supporting healthy attachment. Eliza aims to create a safe, empathetic environment that acknowledges the unique strengths and needs of each client.
Eliza has experience in early childhood education, foster care prevention services, and working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As a Supervisee, Eliza is also committed to serving clients with competence and integrity and is working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia under the supervision of Shelton Poulter, Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
