Medication Management

Evidence-based prescribing

Healthy Minds Therapy understands that attentive, controlled, and expert medication management services are important to an individual’s health and well-being.

At Healthy Minds Therapy, we offer medication management services through our licensed Nurse Practitioner team. Medication visits typically occur twice per month at first, but once you adjust to your new medication, we may meet every couple of months. Our priority is to use the lowest dose and fewest medications possible. We often help patients eliminate medications that are no longer needed or effective.

We may also recommend vitamins, minerals or supplements in combination with or in lieu of traditionally prescribed medications. During follow-up visits, we provide education and recommendations regarding diet, sleep and exercise.

If you are already working with a therapist, with your permission, we will be happy to work collaboratively with them as needed to enhance your mental health journey.
