Antonio is a dedicated and motivated intern at Healthy Minds Therapy, currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. He previously obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. As a member of Chi Sigma Iota, Antonio has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for serving others in the field of mental health.
With his current experience as a Homework Café Teacher/Mentor at Fusion Academy, Antonio has honed his skills in monitoring and tracking student progress, providing individualized support and feedback, and fostering positive social interactions. He has also planned and executed engaging campus programming for students, demonstrating a creative and innovative approach to education.
As a former Center Director at Mathnasium of Mount Vernon, Antonio has proven themselves adept at administering assessments, creating learning plans, and holding conferences with parents to discuss student progress. He has also conducted employee performance evaluations and provided constructive feedback, demonstrating a strong ability to lead and manage others.
As a former Registered Behavior Technician at Acorn Health of Alexandria, LLC, Antonio provided direct ABA therapy services to clients and implemented Behavior Intervention Plans and Individual Treatment Plans as directed by supervising BCBA. He also maintained therapy areas and materials and responded to crisis situations, demonstrating a strong ability to handle high-pressure situations.
