NeElege Coston, Graduate Level Intern

Graduate Level Intern

Hello, my name is Ne’Elege Coston. I am a dedicated and growth-oriented individual currently pursuing my master’s degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling. I am passionate about helping others and understanding the complexities of human relationships, identity, and emotional well-being. I am especially interested in how people connect, communicate, and navigate challenges within families and intimate partnerships, and I continue to develop the skills and self-awareness needed to become an effective and compassionate counselor.

As a student, I value learning and reflection. I strive to be thoughtful and intentional in my work and am especially drawn to topics like intersectionality, cultural awareness, and group dynamics. I approach others with empathy and openness, aiming to create safe and supportive spaces where people feel heard and respected. I value connection, authenticity, and continuous growth, and I am committed to making a meaningful impact as both a skilled counselor and a compassionate advocate for healing and positive change.

Ne’Elege is a Graduate Level Intern and is working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. She works under the supervision of Dr. Michael Deitz, LPC, and Director of Graduate Fieldwork. In the event that clients have any questions or concerns about Jonathan’s work, his supervisor can be contacted at drdeitz@healthyminds-therapy.com or by phone at (540) 845-6940.
